Alfez Moroccan style sun dried tomato and cinnamon sauce
A thick tomato based sauce with an aromatic, spicy tomato flavour. Used as a base for casseroles, as a cooking sauce, a pour over sauce or as a dip straight from the jar.
Ingredients: tomatoes, olive oil, sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, onions, tomato puree, sugar, salt, wheat flour, herbs and spices, paprika, lemon powder and cinnamon.
Recipe idea: Cut 300g of your choice of meat into one inch cubes. Add to lightly oiled pan, cook over medium heat until sealed. Add sauce, cook for one to two minutes. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 – 20 mins, stirring occasionally. Serve on a bed of rice or couscous.
